# Overview

When we set a permission on component, we need to follow some step:

1. Make sure you use a unique `comp_name` so that it doesn't conflict with other permissions.
2. You create the permission either using [this endpoint](/pages/get-all) or More > Permissions from powerbuyer website to make sure permission doesn't already exist
